Title: maxxum 7D white balance setting
Post by: fokkerdmr on February 24, 2005, 12:49:37 pm
White balance will shift the color of the image, not the exposure.  See page 60 of your 7D manual for white balance settings.

If you're consistently underexposed by one stop, does it occur with a specific lens?  Do you have a Minolta 50mm 1:1.7 lens that you can also test with?  That one should produce correct exposures.  Sigma lenses have a chip in them that may need adjustment to get correct exposure.

I just bought Konica Minolta Maxxum 7D because I already had minolta lenses. At the moment, I am having some difficulties in adjusting the camera's White balance setting.

It seems that I have to push the exposure compensation +1 everytime to get the right light even when I am on full Auto.

Does any of you have any idea on how to set the WB?

cheers
