Whats the scoop regarding the NEC 2490WUXi2 and the 2690WUXi2?
Is the panel better in one than the other?
Both display equally?
Seems 250 bucks seems pretty hefty for a minimal increase in screen real estate and the 2490 might fit better in my work area all else being equal.

Seems 250 bucks seems pretty hefty for a minimal increase in screen real estate and the 2490 might fit better in my work area all else being equal.
The major difference is that the 2690WUXi2 is a wide gamut display, while 2490WUXi2 has standard gamut (~sRGB)
