Came across this gas station after making a wrong (right) turn off I-80 in Nevada

Nice! Just the sort of scene that would catch my eye, too. I like how you have included the distant silos at the edge, it adds a wonderful sense of scale.

Fine shot, Fennario. What time of year was it? Looks as if the Chamisa is in bloom.

Thanks guys.  Was taken last Saturday (2/27) while driving back from Idaho.  I love that drive and need to spend some dedicated photography time out there rather than going from A -> B with the gear stowed deep in the car.  Wife and kids were very accommodating with the stops and 80mph window openings throughout.  General feelings were based on our increasing impact on the landscape as we approached home and it's reaction thereto - sometimes nice, but often not.

Haven't been to Cisco, but Wells is always nice this time of year.
