Title: Really Right Stuff L-Plate
Post by: RHarmon on February 15, 2010, 08:31:22 pm
I recently moved over to Nikon, and sold all my Canon gear.  But I'm left with this pristine Really Right Stuff "L" plate which I used on my Canon EOS 1Ds, Mk.I.

I'm almost sure that this plate also fits the 1Ds Mk.II also, but WILL NOT WORK for the Mk.III.

Here's a link to the Really Right Stuff site.  I assume if you're looking at this item, then you know what it is.  Suffice to say that the VERY FIRST thing I bought for my Nikon D3 was... you guessed it... the RRS "L" plate for that camera.  Simply a must-have for any camera!

Here's link to a good page about these "L" Plates, for anyone who's not sure what they do: http://reallyrightstuff.com/QR/05.html (http://reallyrightstuff.com/QR/05.html)

Please email with any questions:  rlhinc@me.com

These things sell new, direct from Really Right Stuff for $183.

So, how does $120 sound, w/free shipping anywhere in CONUS, and no tax??

FYI, you are correct--it will fit the mk I and II both, but not the III.
