Title: Leaf Capture 11.2.9 or PhaseOne Capture 5?
Post by: rolleiflexpages on February 12, 2010, 04:26:12 pm
Could users of the Leaf AFi-II 7 or other Leaf digital systems inform me what works best for them: Leaf Capture 11.2.9 and/or PhaseOne Capture 5? Both softwares support the AFi-II 7 RAW files.
Shooting tethered is not an issue as the system is only used in the field. What are the specific advantages/disadvantages of the two softwares? Quality differences?
Am not sure which software to use with the AFi-II 7. Views appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,
I love the CO option to see the focus check with the contrast mask.
This will be very handy when shooting tethered with a manual focus camera system.

The layout of CO is somewhat nicer and there are a lot of options more than in LC.

The main thing about CO is that renaming is much easier for batch and there are a lot of options that LC is lacking.
CO is more of a complete solution in my opinion whilst LC is a rock solid and fast tethered solution.
I'm switching to CO from LC.
