Worked in Lightroom 2 yesterday (registered copy), today when I try to open LR, a message comes up that this is a Beta version and has expired. All of my backup copies are the same What gives?
-
You sure you don't have multiple copies of Lightroom laying around...like maybe an older beta version?
Otherwise, if you want help, help yourself by providing basic troubleshooting info.

I called Adobe, their suggestion was to download a new copy and activate using my #s. The strange part is that if this was a old beta version, why did it work for over a year? Peter

Now I must report that all of a sudden (today) I received the same message.
Your Beta Version has expired.
This is even though I have a PAID VERSION with a serial number.
Their must be some sort of major bug in this program.

Three friends, all with authentic copies & registrations, report the same as of last weekend.

I just uninstalled Lightroom 2 and reinstalled it.
But I must state I did not have a Lightroom 2 beta running on this Mac.
But after uninstalling and the reinstalling all seems to be running ok. Go figure!

Fortunately I had a downloaded copy of LR on file, installed it and good to go although it is an older version. Will try to upgrade it later. It has not asked for license #'s yet. Peter
