Out of curiosity, and because I cannot find anything in my Horseman literature...
Does anyone know if either Horseman or Sinar made a rear adapter plate from 4x5 to a 2x3 graflok? I have lots of 2x3 rollfilm holders and GG and accessories from the Horseman VHR, that I would love to use on my LS-45, but currently do not see a way to adapt directly. If I can avoid custom machining, I will.
I have an email out to Dick and Direct Source Marketing, but I am less than hopeful, since it's mostly older line equip I'm looking for.
Thanks in advance.

Call Lens+Repro in NYC
Otherwise Sk Grimes should be able to make one for a reasonable price I'd think

If you slide the ground glass off the carrier frame on the back you should have sliding tabs to hold down the back.
You should not need an adapter of any type.

That works for a 4x5 graflok back, but not 2x3.
Yeah, I may have to contact SK Grimes. They're making me a lens board adapter anyway.
I found this one from Toyo - http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/6116...ok_Sliding.html (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/61169-REG/Toyo_View_180_719_180_719_Universal_Graflok_Sliding.html)
I'm wondering if it will work on the Horseman.

I missed the point where you said 2x3. Sorry!

You should not have a problem changing the Toyo plate on that sliding back to a Sinar/ Horsman one.

Official word from Horseman is that no such back is currently made (which I knew... I was hoping they could give me a part number for an old back).
I'm now wondering if I can rip the back off a second-hand VHR or other 2x3 and had SK Grimes adapt it to the 4x5. The Toyo looks good, except I can't tell if that is a GG on the back... and I'd rather not pay $600 for the wrong item.

Isn't the Mamiya RB the same as a 2x3 Graflok mount? I have an adapter that lets me use Mamiya RB film backs on any 4x5. It was designed by a camera repairer in India almost ten years ago, and is very well made. Similar adapters from China are available on eBay.

I did find one of those - it has foam baffles for the face of the RB film magazine, that I'm not sure will work with the horseman magazines (and obviously not the 6x9 ones). I also don't know about a ground glass option.
But it's an interesting start. I could probably use that as the base for some additional machining.
It still boggles my mind a bit, that horseman didn't already have a solution, since they were so modular in all their other developments.

Take a look at this old B&H brochure, in the Horseman section, page 21 of 72 shows some old accessories ( http://www.bhphotovideo.com/FrameWork/Prod...gFormatView.pdf (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/FrameWork/Product_Resources/SourceBookProPhoto/Section03bLgFormatView.pdf) ), like those neat rotary backs, that I've seen used at KEH: http://www.keh.com/Product-Details/1/LF119...70/LF11/FE.aspx (http://www.keh.com/Product-Details/1/LF119990104470/LF11/FE.aspx) .

Thanks T-1000
I've been looking at that same rotary back in a few places. From everything I can tell, it only fits on camera backs that are already 2x3. (tho there are some models that did work on 4x5)
EDIT - It looks like they did make exactly what I want. Thanks! Now I just need to find it. Item 27531 or 22503 will work great.
