Title: Equivalent to ARC 'p' key
Post by: ravel03 on January 19, 2010, 05:48:53 am
Hi,

I got accustomed to the 'p' key in ACR that basically allows to visually see the 'before and after' of any adjustment of a given adjustment tab. The equivalent in Lightroom is the little toggle found in the adjustment panel. The problem is there doesn't seem to be a keyboard shortcut associated with that toggle. This might very will be because I missed it in the doc, and would appreciate if you can point it out. If not, is this something that others would find useful?

I know about the \ key, but this would be equivalent to the 'p' key in ACR preset tab and give you the overall 'before and after'. I use the \ all the time, but sometimes I only want to see adjustments for a given panel. The Details panel comes to mind. I find it helpful to see the 'before and after' effect of my capture sharpening. The problem is that I have to rely on my mouse and click the toggle while I'd rather hit the... 'p' key (or something else as the key is taken for 'pick').

Thanks.
