I shot this image at dawn one morning last week at home on Lana`i out taking pics with my father, and I would love some feedback on it. What do you guys think? Should I crop more off the bottom or right side? The shapes of the tidepools make it difficult for me to see an easy crop - leave it alone? Also, I concede that a bit of distortion removal might be in order to flatten the horizon.

Before you start eliminating parts of the image and worrying about distortion, I would work on some other technical issues...try to select the pool with or feathered lasso, or somesuch, and then try to bring out some detail in the pools in the foreground..this is easily done and will make a huge difference what you are trying to do with this photo..a photo of the tide pools.
i dont think it's to bad, compositionally, right now.

Nice image. I wouldn't crop anything. I agree that it might help to straighten the horizon a bit.
In addition I would be tempted to try to bring up a bit more detail in the shadows, but not to much as to spoil the nice pre-dawn mood you have.

I don't see any improvement with cropping but, as both gentlemen above suggested, try to bring out details in dark areas of the image. When I saw your photo, before having read your intentions of cropping/fixing distortion, I immediately thought about brightening the pool.
