Title: Canon 5D alternate lens advice
Post by: CalBoy87 on January 06, 2010, 06:19:56 pm
Hi. I receive some adapters for my 5D - Olympus OM, M42 and C/Y. I am using Olympus OM 28mm with it, but looking for more options, mostly WA and fast portrait primes. Budget is about 500 USD. Can someone here, who is  using those lenses, share the experience (images are welcome). Thank you for any advice.

For fast portrait, Oly had an 85/2 Zuiko and a 100/2, both superb optics.

You can get many C/Y Zeiss lenses for less than 500$. The 25mm, the 28, the 35 f:2.8, the 50 f:1.4, the 50 f:1.7, the 135 f:2.8. That gives you a lot to choose from if Zeiss is your cup of tea. Tell me more about your requirements, and I can supply more feeback.

Careful. Check which ones can be adapted.
