A beautiful and minimalist composition. I think it only lacks a touch of brightness and contrast, something to give the two elements and the creases of snow a little more definition. But very nice.

Thanks guys.

John, I had already made some contrast adjustments to the "snow creases" but didn't want to go too far with it. I'll continue to play around a bit with the image though.

I like it.

I wish I was better at seeing minimalist expressions of form when holding a camera. I always appreciate them when viewed such as this one but seldom when composing

One thing, and I'm not sure if it’s my eyes (likely- my new glasses prescription is due back in a few days) but there appears to be very little detail in the snow. If true, perhaps a high pass filter would help bring this out.
