Title: Can you "ignore" message threads?

I know that there is an option to "ignore" a specific user's posts.

Is there a similar option to "ignore" specific message theads?

Sorry, I sometimes find my will too weak to do that, like trying not to gape at a roadside accident.  "Out of sight, out of mind" can be the best solution
