Title: whats going on with my monitor?
Post by: StuartRH on December 19, 2009, 04:10:23 am
I have a strange issue with my calibration?, the bit I am concerned about is the results on the input and output screen and the 'line' not going to the corner for the blacks.

Any advice to on what to do next and what has happened would be helpful.

I have attached a picture of the final calibration page.

It looks like the calibration sensor is reading some light even when the monitor is supposedly displaying pure black. Did you make sure there is no ambient light that could be causing the problem?

I've tried with no ambient light, still no different...

I have seen this behavior with i1-D2 pucks that were dying. Download and run the i1 diagnostics from X-Rite's site.
