Does anyone know if you
can you tether a 5D mark 2 with C1 Pro 3.7.9 ?

I am running MAC OS X 10.6.2 Snow Leopard.
on a Macbook Pro.

No.

The 5D Mark 2 is supported in 4.8.3 and 5.0.1.

3.7.9 neither directly supports tethering the 5D II, nor has a hot folder capability to indirectly tether it.

If you haven't upgraded because you heard (or experienced) the rocky road of early-capture-one-4 I would encourage you to look again. Capture One 5.0.1 is a really really great program.
