Just saw this Beginner's Guide to Astrophotography (http://www.space.com/spacewatch/091204-astrophotography-guide.html) at Space.com (http://www.space.com). (Actually I saw it at Space.com (http://www.space.com) via my My Yahoo! (http://my.yahoo.com) page.)

Dunno how worthwhile it is but I thought I'd throw it here. Anyone do astrophotography?

This "guide" is amazingly bad. I've done a bit of astrophotography, but not that much since I am located in one of the world's most light polluted areas and I have only a couple of clear nights each month.
Here's one taken with a 550/2.7 lens (called a FFC) and a Canon 40D

If I remember well, several other members here are more experienced and have better skies.
