Title: AF points on 1Ds MkII
Post by: Jonathan Wienke on February 23, 2005, 12:12:14 am
When all of the perimeter focus points are lit, that means you have selected all 45 points. For single points, the individually selected point lights up. Check your setting for Custom Function 13. Then read this article. (http://www.visual-vacations.com/Photography/1ds_autofocus_tips.htm).
Title: AF points on 1Ds MkII

I want to do some focus tests with my DS2 by using a single AF point in the middle of the focus screen.  When I push the small button on the upper left of the back to bring up the AF points, I do not get all the AF points. I just get an oval of points (seven on the top and bottom, three on each side--no center points). I have read through the manual, looked at all the Custom Function settings, but I can't figure out how to bring up all 45 points so I can pick just the center point for my focus tests.

Anyone have any suggestions?
