Heh.. love the old pushbike lent up against the billion dollar collider - priceless

The  silicon strip detetectors are impressive..."similar to CCD in digital camera"..those things are huge!!!!

I like the emergency exit signs...nearest exit 2600M to the left, 700M to the right.  Running figure symbol.  Claustrophobes are strongly motivated to work out regularly.  Sure hope they get it together.  Stupid melting wires!

Neat stuff.  How long does it take to evacuate that entire chamber?  (Assuming all that stuff has to happen in a vacuum.)
