Title: Portfolio

I have about 20 pictures I chose for a portfolio, all taken in my past two years of traveling. Since I'm going to be presenting these in the coming weeks I was hoping to get some feedback from you guys first. This is the first portfolio I've ever put together, and I tried to balance it between variety of content and consistency of theme....I'd like to know if that comes through in any way...

There's some powerful images there. You have a good eye for the decisive moment. Great work.

Excellent portfolio! I think you have found the right balance. You are very good with faces and you have many strong compositions with faces. But the other images are equally strong and do indeed provide a nice variety. 


Just for fun I decided to see if there were any that felt weaker than the rest. I think the one that I might be tempted to omit is the portrait (man at right of picture looking left)  just before the homeless man in the sequence. The others all tell stories or raise good questions (the three curious monks, the boy looking at a soldier's gun, and the pig with money stuffed in his mouth come to mind as quite memorable).

Ish, I agree with Pop and Eric. It's good work and a good portfolio.
