Hey there
Computer dummy here. New computer, new OS, new problems.
Dell M6400 laptop, NVIDIA 3700, NEC SVii eye one display.
When i open SV i get this message.
"Unable to comunicate with any supported display monitors. Please verify that your system is supported and confirm that display configeration is correct......."
When i open SP --> Edit --> display config..i am unable to get my motior recognised.

Which OS are you using, Vista or (I presume) Windows 7? If the latter, it doesn't appear as if NEC's Spectraview II software supports it yet (at least according to their website):

Is there some sort of "compatibility mode" you can use to get the software going?

Make sure you have downloaded and installed the latest *FULL* drivers from Nvidia. The drivers included by OEMs like Dell etc. do not include all of the necessary files. Sometimes laptops do not have the necessary support for communicating with external displays, but your best bet is to try the full drivers first.

Sometimes laptops do not have the necessary support for communicating with external displays, but your best bet is to try the full drivers first.

I don't have that particular setup, but my HP Dreamcolor monitor and Advanced Profiling Solution requires a USB cable be connected between the monitor and computer as well as the DVI connector to calibrate.
