Title: Living in color
Post by: CBarrett on November 09, 2009, 12:45:32 pm
I so rarely look at my work in black and white, but I thought this image from last week just begged for it.  I think I'll send the client both, or maybe just send the B/W as a nice print.  Converted using Channel Mixer (yellow filter setting).  For some reason the B/W adjustment layer always creates a lot of noise for me whereas the Channel Mixer doesn't...shouldn't they be doing the same thing?  Threw in a Hue/Sat layer with just about 5 points of saturation in the magenta region.

BTW... I think the P65+ files convert to really beautiful black and white...
