Title: Thoughts about graphics card
Post by: Jon Meddings on October 29, 2009, 02:42:35 pm
I'd appreciate any thoughts people have on this.

I'm just about to build a new machine specifically for photo work. Will be running Windows 7, quad core, lots of RAM. Still wondering about SSD's, local drives etc. I have about 10 TB of NAS and DAS space around that I'll connect to and I display on a NEC 2690.

I currently use an NVIDIA graphics card but have had some issues with the drivers and lightroom in the past. I've read the recent issues of Spectraview (which I use) and the NVIDIA drivers for Win7. Would anyone recommend a different video card maker?
