Now that the DSLRRemotePro Canon tethering/remote control s/w is also available for the Apple Mac, I was able to have a good look at it.

One or two slight rough edges, but since the Mac version (intel only) is at V1.0, I'm told it will be soon fixed and updated to support the 7D.
