Title: Sandisk Extreme iii 32 GB, Canon G10, low level format

Got a SanDisk 32 GB Extreme iii SDHC, put it in my Canon G10 P&S and tried a low-level format. The process hangs and never completes. The process thermometer never moves past about 1/3.

High level format works. Pictures work. Just no low level format.

So, what gives? Is the SanDisk 32 GB not 100% compatible with the Canon G10? And who should I contact, Sandisk or Canon?

Not sure that the G10 can format up to 32GB.

See your user manual before asking Canon !
