Some more street shots to share.... Comments/recommendations for post-processing?

No recommendations, the processing althrough different in both versions is just fine, very clear and defined.
Upon second glance: Its unusual to use a gradient like this in the first and Im sure many photographers will notice this. It gives a focus, provides depth and tonal variation but still it's quite obvious. Maybe it works better if you make the gradient longer (across the whole front?) or/and let it differ for background middle and left building.
But apart from this technical considerations, my first reaction was "wow!" and I like the first one very much. The special feeling I get gets a bit lost in the second but I'm not entirely sure why. Maybe because the tonalities in the first are better for my taste (not as bright), maybe also because of the square. I just love the square most.

I like the first photograph (2nd one currently shows as "unavailable"). Makes me wonder what the two fellows are looking at down below. I think the gradation of the sky was necessary and for me is one aspect of the photo that made me like it. If it was my picture and if the gradation was applied using PS I would have applied it as an adjustment layer and selectively erased the gradation over the building to see how that looks (it may work or it may no longer strengthen the focus on the two bicyclists).
And what are the cards all about within their wheels spokes?

I agree with you about the gradient. It seems a bit much! I made it longer and toned it down a bit, before posting it to my website. When I first created the gradient, the idea was to keep it subtle, but I got carried away!

I do like the idea of working with the gradient in layers. Unfortunately, I am limited by LR and I don't have PS. I am tempted to try it out on a friend's computer!
