If you plan to dip your present camera in red paint, I suggest

If you plan to dip your present camera in red paint, I suggest first smearing a layer of petroleum jelly on the front of the lens so the paint won't stick to it.
In my experience, the controls may not work too well after the dip. Do tell us how it comes out.

While I see relatively few color combinations there that are actually appealing, it looks like Pentax has delivered a remarkably solid entry-level camera that should build even further on the K-m's success, and for the entry level crowd, well, those colors could turn out to be a real moneymaker... ugly as most of us may find them.
