Title: Cathedral black and whites
Post by: lattiboy on September 12, 2009, 01:21:46 pm
All taken with the LX3, most using the "dynamic b&w" setting, some RAW developed in LR. This is the St. James Cathedral in Seattle, WA. It is one of the most beautiful buildings in the city.

Quite nice.  The guy in the first one looks like he's dancing.

Whereas I like #1 best, my eye is distracted to the bright light in the window and on the floor, leaving me wondering what the subject is.

#3 appeals to me the most.  I really like the composition.  The converging lines and the light from the window and door work very well for me.  Nice work.
