How do I find the shot count total on a 1DsmkIII. I have got the dreaded white line appearing, I guess I have done about 20-30k with it and it's just out of Canons guarantee. What ever it is it's a longway off the 300k advertised. So the 3rd trip to Canon in the last 7 months for it. If it was not for the new lenses announced (but can't buy 'cos I can't find) it would all be heading for the Bay.
My smkII had two new shutters in two years.
Anyway where do I get the shutter count from so I can argue down the phone.
Cheers,
Kevin.

Possibly tie the repair in with having this work done free of charge:

Try oPanda or IExif free software. oPanda worked for my Nikon, should be easy for Canon too.

IExif worked for me.
