Title: August in the forest
Post by: Jeremy Payne on August 14, 2009, 11:33:52 am
A couple from an early morning walkabout ... both shot with D700 and 70-200mm VR with 1.7x TC and Canon 500D diopter.

I really like the composition of the first one, although I would've preferred a little more DOF.  The foot atop the "spine" of the leaf is perfect.  Nice job.

Thanks!

I'm glad it stayed still for the whole 8 seconds ... it retains a bit of a sense of 'motion' even though it was stock still.

RE: DOF ... I'm always afraid to go past f/16 - but maybe I should get over that for this kind of shot.
