If you could just Photoshop out that log I think it would be perfect!  All seriousness aside, I think the log dominates the image because of its mass, but it shouldn't be the dominant feature.

John, I agree with Mike. It's a nicely composed shot but the log dominates the picture and the log isn't really all that interesting as a subject.
