C&C, please. In particular, would you clone out the branch in the upper right?

A very nice photo. I like the light a lot. Yes, I would clone out the branches (the one in the upper right corner and the one below). In fact, I looked at your photo before reading your comment and immediately thought about removing that branch!

great photo and yes the branch needs cloned out,, to distracting and offers nothing,,

Jeremy, That's probably the best thing I've seen you post. Good job! No, don't clone out anything. What is this urge to prettify everything in post processing? Surely some of these prettifiers have shot color transparencies where you have to get it right in the camera. Sometimes -- but very, very, very rarely -- you'll run into a situation where you can't avoid cutting something out of the picture, but if it happens more than about once a year there's something wrong with your approach to composition. In this case the rest of the environment includes some branches and another monkey off to the right. There's nothing wrong with that and the branch doesn't detract from the balance of the picture.

Jeremy,

I agree with Russ about the branches... leave them in.  Wildlife photography should not, in my view, be excessively post-processed apart from the basic adjustments and maybe a bit of cropping.  

Anyway, you nailed this one.  The mum's facial expression is perfect.  What species are these? I haven't seen this sort before.

They're grey langurs, I believe. They're very, very common in India, at least in Rajasthan. This was taken in the summer palace at Udaipur: I recently posted [a href=\'index.php?act=findpost&pid=284773\']a shot of the place[/a] taken from below.
