Title: Cuyahoga River at Peninsula Ohio
Post by: dalethorn on May 27, 2009, 06:00:15 pm
It's a fairly generic view of a small river and trees, and my main interest here is how well I can do with this subject using the Panasonic G1.  I was disappointed with the LX3 last September, since it couldn't produce decent detail of tree-laden scenes like this.

Panasonic G1, 45-200 lens at 45mm, daylight auto-exp., ISO 80.

Nice light and composition.  The rock in the lower right is essential to draw eyes into the image.

Thanks - this is an example of why I find landscapes tough to do - it's a lot of walking, and when you get there, the elements don't usually come together for a really good shot.
