Title: Black, black in the blacks?
Post by: Bartone on May 14, 2009, 07:03:12 pm
the black areas in my prints are just not as deep black as some older prints (probably the paper). I'm using the Canon Fine Art 330 gsm (24mm). It's a roll, I'm printing b&w images, and perhaps the Canon paper just doesn't print jet-black?

That particular matt paper (in fact virtually every matt paper) wont produce a black as deep as that you can acheive from luster or the new Baryta coated papers.
