Title: deleting files in adobe bridge
Post by: leeonmaui on May 05, 2009, 02:48:31 pm
Aloha,

when i view images in adobe bridge, and then make a multiple selection to delete, I am told i do not have sufficient permissions"

Is there a way to gain permissions, change something in a preference box or what?  any help on this would be appreciated.

warmest regards, Lee

The obvious questions: are you trying to delete files on a non-rewritable media (CD-R), or does your memory card have write protection on?

If you're on a PC, you might have some very restrictive file permission setup if it's not your computer, and you'd have to contact your network/computer administrator.

If you're on a Mac, someone else can hopefully help you...

If by chance you're running Vista, you might need to disable the User Access Control.
