Title: Paper or vinyl roll bakcgrounds

Hi there....I can buy Lastolite paper or vinyl background rolls for studio shoot and was obviously leaning more towards the vinyl version for the usability.....but im thinking the flashes will bounce off and show a shine on the backgrounds.....whereas the paper rolls will suck in light better.....

ANYONE HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH BOTH CARE TO COMMENT AND ADVISE ME WHICH TO GET?

i only use paper backgrounds for solid colors. i have heard of a photographer getting linoleum and paint the reverse side white for a heavier duty background.

thanks for your help...the lino sounds like a ood idea if you have good supports...that beast would be heavy!
