Title: Mamiya RZ with 220 film in a 120 film back
Post by: billy on May 02, 2009, 04:09:27 pm
So I have 20 rolls of 220 color negative film in my fridge and want to run it thru my 120 film back, I shoot mostly F 2.8 thru F 5.6, will it effect my focus? I will probably never use this film if I dont do this. this would be for personal work, portraits of my family, etc

I think I've done this by accident in the past and the results were fine.  You might have to trick the back somehow in order to shoot more than 10 frames, though.  It's been so long, I forget if it's even possible.
I'm sure you could find a 220 back (is it a back or just a new insert?) for cheap somewhere.  Might be worth it.
