Several years ago I saw a camera accessory that shielded the lens when shooting in the direction of the sun. It was a metal plate attached to a bendable wire of some kind that attached to the flash shoe. I didn't pay much attention to it at the time, but I am shooting more backlit photos now and it would come in very handy.
Does anyone know the brand name for this device?
