I've been looking to replace my LaCie 320 GB USB 'backup system' for a few years, now. I'd been using MS Backup to save three-drives-worth of PC system to it, and when overclocking, spending up to a week and a half to rebuild and reinstall after over-agressive overclocking attempts.
I purchased the BlacX and two WD 250 GB SATA drives (which match the 3 in my PC), and formatted the drives, then ran Scandisk, just to be safe.
I found out that I could use WD's DataLifeGuard Tools Disk-to-Disk copy to clone my C: drive to the backup drives, and I then used MS Backup to copy D: and E: to each backup drive.
By plugging either backup drive in place of C:, I can boot a 'restored' system with ease.
So I just wanted to thank the community for informing me of a great backup system for home use!
