Title: Valley of Fire in Nevada

It'll my first time to go to the Valley of Fire in Nevada next week. I would appreciate any tips on the place - good place to stay, best time to shoot, "must-shoot" areas, best equipment to bring, etc.

Adrian, Sorry I didn't see the thread until now.  I've shot there many times for my car clients, how did it go?  Jim

Just saw your post.  I've been there many times and can tell you quite a bit about the park.  Let me know if you want more information.

I didn't realize there were replies to this thread. I just stumbled upon the thread again cause I'm back here in Vegas for an annual convention and am looking for some good places to shoot.

The shoot went pretty well actually. I drove there and was amazed at the wonderful red rock formations. here's what I got from last years trip:
