As I own a Fotoman 69 I read this with deep regret. They sited two reasons: decrease in demand for film cameras and rising prices from suppliers. Damn shame.
They offered what is essentially an Alpa at 1/4 the price. Their workmanship was top rate and the way they are built means they will last longer than a lifetime.

very sad indeed. the 810PS is a decent camera.

I wonder if dropping the dealer network might have extended their life, sell direct?
