The 80mm and 200mm have turned out to be my main focal lengths, so I'm selling the 110 to raise some money for new gear. The sale includes the 110mm, a new hood w/ box and front and rear caps. The glass looks great with no marks or blemishes. The lens barrel has some minor paint loss here and there from normal use. This is a relatively high serial number; 4th generation.

Why do so many American sellers don't want to sell outside the US?
They are missing out on many sales!

I've also wondered why.
My guess is they feel anything outside the US is unsafe and filled with creatures ready to pounce on them and rip their guts out. Scary world

I don't know about "annoying", but I've had many items (valued from $20 to $8000) arrive safely in Japan from the US via USPS. In fact I prefer USPS to Fedex or UPS, who charge ridiculous "brokerage" fees. I have also sent quite a few items to the US, Europe and Asia by JapanPost without a hitch. USPS tracking is pretty horrible, unfortunately. The site is updated only once a day, and sometimes there are inexplicable delays. It can take 4 or 5 days for a package to travel from San Carlos to San Francisco, and then two days to get to Japan. And once in a while, USPS decides to send my package to Tokyo, rather than Osaka, which is an hour away from Kobe, where I live. JapanPost on the other hand, tracks in real time, in both directions, and customs/transit time within Japan is usually not more than a day.
Customs forms are usually the same everywhere, no? A simple "To", "From", a declaration of what is being sent, and the value, which is all on the same shipping label that goes on the box.
And service at the Post Office is exemplary, so there are no "annoyances"

Whoah... I didn't know this post had been active. Regarding selling outside the US: 1) Paypal takes an extra 1% and somebody usually gets the short end of the stick when it comes to Paypal's currency exchange rates, 2) the buyer is at risk for customs fees, brokers fees and other local tarriffs - it can be a nasty surprise, 3) Even if I insure the lens for market value, that doesn't mean that's the value the USPS (or other service) will use. They use a depreciated value of their own liking, 4) I've had packages go MIA for 2-3 weeks and then magically re-appear. Meanwhile the seller is asking me the hard questions - what can I do? 5) I have to go to the post office and stand in line - which can take 1 to 2 hours at our local office.
I've shipped internationally probably 100+ times in the 5 years or so. The headache ratio is quite high with 1 or 2 of every 10 packages running into some type of snafu. Fortunately nothing has been lost, but why tempt fate? Meanwhile shipping in the US has been problem free. Pack it, drop it off at the FEDEX counter, get the drop-off receipt and let the seller know the item will be there in 3-4 days. The buyer has full-tracking, etc., etc., etc.
