Title: spray or glass mount framed photos?
Post by: jim t on March 04, 2009, 07:51:32 pm
Just curious what everyone thinks of laminating with say, clearjet or mounting a glass over framed photos?  I'm trying to avoid costs and it seem's using a coating is the way to go for me.  Anyone see any problems with doing this, especially for fine art?

I wonder how archival these coatings are. My approach is to use nothing. The print looks its best and if it gets damaged, I'll print another. Of course, if I am selling a framed print I will provide glass if the customer wants.
