Title: Embedded or Working Profile?

When Opening a photo file in Photoshop, I receive a warning that the embedded profile (Embedded RGB Camera) does not match the working profile (Adobe RGB. Is it best to leave it alone? The other option is to Discard the Embedded Profile (don't color manage).

I have CS4 convert my camera files to Adobe RGB (1998) or ProPhoto RGB, which both have a wider color gamut than sRGB. I have my Color Settings in Photoshop set to Adobe RGB (1998) (or ProPhoto RGB for Raw files) and have "ask when opening" turned off. Of course, I still use Color Management and assign a print profile before output.

I turn that warning off, and set PS to use the embedded profile unless I manually convert to a different profile. BTW, you don't ASSIGN a printer profile for  printing, you CONVERT a copy the file to the printer profile.
