I am attempting to organize all my pictures and psds in a workflow where I apply keywords, subkeywords so I can later search by keywords and create collections.
The problem is this, I have created about 40 subkeywords under 9different keywords. I select a group of pictures then simply click the checkbox of the subkeywords I want to have embedded to those groups of pictures.
The probem is, when there are many or large files, psd files I have selected and I start clicking on the sub keyword checkboxes,, not all the keywords will be applied/written! Some will some wont.. it's as if the process is trying to write the keywords to file as I am checking them off but looses synch. This is a disaster. I can end up with only half my selected keywords chosen applied. which totally defeats the purpose and breaks the workflow.
There is no way of knowing if the keywords have all taken effect unless I reselect them after the write cycle.. sometimes I would have to reselect rechck the (-) boxes several times before they all would take effect.
I am making sure to give Bridge enough time to complete the write cycle. Anyone else have this problem? ideas ?
