Post by: erick.boileau on February 13, 2009, 08:58:47 am
I need a 50 mm for my Hasselblad H1 , do you think the HC 50 mm  is very good or is better to get a CF 50mm ? another one ?

thank you

I have the 50 and it is excellent.  I highly recommend it....Have started using three lenses in place of the Hassy zoom ----the 50, 80 and 100, all of which I can successfully and consistently handhold when I want to. eleanor

use the 50 often wide open at 4 or even 3,5 and its alright for my concerns.

I really like the 50. It is a joy to use it compared to the zoom. I think it is just a tad better than the zoom. Wide open I find it not always performing like I would have wanted. I use the 50 & 100 together with the zoom. I find the 80 somewhat of a disappointment compared to the other 3 (even when it is a decent lens on its own, it is just less than the others).
