Title: Ctrl click to select a batch, whats the Mac equivilent?

I'm sure somebody knows the answer, but if I want to select say a dozen images out of a folder of say fifty (shift click on PC on the first and last) what the Mac shortcut, dammed if I can figure it out.  Thanks  Wayne

Click on the first file to select it, then shift-click on the last item. All in between items will be selected as well.

To select individual files, hold down the Command key and click each file.

Thanks I have been trying that but it doesn't seem to work on a Mac, any ideas?   Wayne

No ideas, sorry. I assume you're in the Finder, and you are viewing items in List View. (Though it works in the other views, too.) I've just spent several minutes trying to get this to NOT work, and I can't.

It doesn't work in the Finder with icon view. You have to use list view.
