I use Noise Ninja and LR. You should remove noise first, but NN doesn't handle RAW, so I go to LR, develop, save in TIFF, then process in NN. This puts noise reduction after fairly extensive development of the negative in LR. Any thoughts on how to improve thie work flow?

You don't need to convert the RAW file before processing in NN. Set up NN as an external editor in LR. Do your initial development (white balance, vibrancy, etc) then edit in NN. LR will automatically convert the RAW to a TIFF and bring you into NN. When you're finished processing there, save the file and close NN. Now your Noise reduced TIFF is stacked with your original RAW. From here continue the creative development work on the TIFF.
