Title: Epson 3800 with Vista 64
Post by: NigelC on December 29, 2008, 07:17:35 am
Just checking the driver downloads on the Epson website as I'm getting a new Vista 64 box. My 3800 was delivered in March 08 so assume manufacturing date was end 07, early 08. Do I just need the Vista 64 driver or is there anything else I need? - (there is a late 07 firmware update)

I have a 3800, which I bought first half 2007.  Recently installed Vista 64 on my PC, which talks quite happily to the 3800... no problems of any kind.

Forgot to mention.... I think I updated the printer firmware sometime in the first few months I owned it.  Other than that, I simply downloaded the then most current (October '08-ish?) 64-bit driver from the Epson site.
