Title: Blur
Post by: dwood on December 12, 2008, 10:05:24 pm
Here in Maine, (I'm just outside of Portland) we just endured a fairly nasty ice storm. It sucked. Power was out for 12 hours, tree limbs falling all over the place, etc. When the storm finally broke, the sun made a brief appearance before retreating. During this window of opportunity, I shot the motion blur below. The reeds were completely covered in ice, as were the tree limbs in the background. Shooting this made a really crappy 24 hours not seem so bad.

Hi.

That's a beautiful shot.

I tend to struggle a bit with this type of shot normally, to me they so rarely work, this is spot on though. Thanks for posting.

Mat.
