I recently put CS4 on my laptop to do file management, select preference of shots in a composition and work/play with images in general in my raw library and my photo album, etc.... BUT I clearly didn't consider the implications of bridge and settings in a network environment because I'm only just now asking the question:
If I change the settings in CS4 ACR from "save image settings in [database]" to "save image settings in sidecar [.xmp] files" can I force it to 'export' all the setting information from the existing database to new xmp files? Will it do it on it's own? Any other information to assist?
