Hello, new to the forum, this is very useful to beginners in the field.
Last year I received a new Canon 9500 for a gift and I have been using it with custom profiles (built with eye1 Basic). I have been getting good results on all but B & W. The forum here seems very high on Epson. Will bronzing of B & W be reduced using papers that have some level of coating on a Epson 3800? Currently, my efforts with Canon Pro semi gloss in B & W result in the dark areas viewed from an angle have a sheen without detail that is not pleasing. Matte or non lustre papers are better, but the darks overall still seems to be lacking in detail.
Any advice or is this a symptom of the 9500?
thanx
Dan
